Recently The Glen Cove Hospital Auxiliary held it’s fifth Mad Hatter’s Tea at St. Rocco’s Parish Hall (in the beautiful Madonna Room). It was a huge success with more than 150 women attending. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious tea sandwiches and goodies, three hours of laughter, fun and unbelievable hats.
At this time on behalf of the Auxiliary and Glen Cove Hospital I would like to thank the many donors who helped make this event possible; without them it would not have happened.
The Glen Cove Diner, Stop & Shop, Star Nails, Chez Capelli, Hair Above, Beautiful Flowers, The Bagel Cafe, Animal Crackers, Vito’s Ristorante, Glen Floors, Locust Valley Pizza, Locust Valley Bistro, Panera Bread, Black Tie French Cleaners, The Downtown Cafe, The Red Lobster, The Pet Store Next Door, Ann Albin Nalveaiko, Valley Attic, Rising Tide, The Knitted Purl, Glenco Liquors, Casa De Vinos, Dana And Company, Glen Cove Hospital Gift Shop, Glen Cove Hospital administration, The View, La Bussola Ristorante, St. Rocco’s Bakery, Frank’s Steak House and Hand and Stone Spa.
A special thank you to Father Elias, all the St. Rocco ladies, Maureen Husing, all my board members, our auxiliary members for providing the delicious food, the five teenagers who were called at the last minute and appeared to serve, our many friends and neighbors who attended and pitched in to help when needed, and my great co-chairs Brenda Weck and Judy Barnett.
It takes so many to do so much! Thank you all!
