The Criminal Courts Bar Association of Nassau County held its annual dinner dance recently at the Fox Hollow.

The organization presented the Honorable William O’Brien with the Norman F. Lent Award. This is the highest honor the organization awards and it is given to an outstanding jurist that has exemplified throughout his career the qualities that make a good judge:  knowledge of the law, fairness and the courage to do what is right.
