On Sunday, Aug. 14, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival presents Blondes Have More Fun, a tribute to Rod Stewart. The concert, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park and is sponsored by Glen Cove Hospital Northwell Health.
All the hits made famous by Rod Stewart performed in a dazzling, wildly entertaining show that covers Stewart’s whole career, from rock to disco to the Great American Songbook. Rick Larrimore’s uncanny, spot-on tribute recreates the energy and excitement that have captivated Rod Stewart’s audiences for a generation. Blondes Have More Fun, featuring Larrimore and his seven-piece backup band, have played to audiences across the nation with Stewart hits such as “Maggie May,” “Hot Legs,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “You’re In My Heart” and, of course, “Blondes (Have More Fun).”
