Councilman Efraim Spagnoletti was elected to the Glen Cove City Council in 2013 in his first campaign. He graduated cum laude from Hoftsra University with a bachelor’s in business administration. He began his career with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and is currently the SVP, chief compliance officer for an asset management firm. Spagnoletti was appointed to the Military Academy Nominations Selection Committee that interviews and evaluates candidates for a Congressional nomination to one of the four U.S. military service academies. He and his wife have been married for 13 years. He is fluent in Italian and is an active member of the Sons of Italy.
He is a registered Republican and is running on the Glen Cove United party line with Tony Gallo.
