Fun And Food At St. Rocco’s Feast


The annual Feast of St. Rocco was another success, creating a lot of smiling faces and full bellies. The 41st annual feast was held during the last week of July at the Church of St. Rocco in Glen Cove. From sausage and peppers to homemade pasta and meatballs, and of course pastries and zeppoles, festival-goers were had lots of the food options they look forward to every year. And with carnival rides, live music and the procession of St. Rocco, the festival made for a fun time that also helps to enhance the community bond annually. The festival committee is already looking forward to next year’s feast.
