Glen Cove Celebrates AP Scholars

The Glen Cove City School District announced that the College Board has named 38 former and current Glen Cove High School students Advanced Placement Scholars for the 2014-15 school year, following their outstanding performance on the May 2015 AP exams. The honor was given to the following students:

National AP Scholar, granted to students with an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams: Ali Raza.

AP Scholar with Distinction, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams: Jenny Armstrong, Matthew Gallo, Nicolas Garcia, Andrew Gerin, Catherine Hatala, Maria Krisch, Michelle Melfi and Ali Raza.
AP Scholar with Honor, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams: Peter Budraitis, Elizabeth Grieco, Gregory Jones, Justin Sobelman, Blakelee Woods and Duncan Yates.
