Glen Cove Hospital Auxiliary Tree of lights

A wonderful way to honor family or friends, to celebrate a birth or remember a loved one this holiday season is to join with the Glen Cove Hospital Auxiliary at the Tree of Lights Ceremony.

This year the event takes place on Friday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m. in the hospital lobby.
A light will shine on a 25-foot evergreen tree for each individual honored or remembered. The tree will remain lit as a symbol of hope and love throughout the holiday season. In addition, the names of all the enrolled in the ceremony will be listed in the hospital lobby throughout the season.

Adding to the festive afternoon, the Girl Scouts will lead a chorus of holiday songs and refreshments will be provided.

To make it an extra special event, the Auxiliary is asking for guests to donate hats, gloves, scarves or socks; these will be donated to the local men’s shelter or the INN.
You can purchase a light for $5 each. Call the Auxiliary office at 516-674-7365 for an application to be sent to you or stop by the reception desk in the lobby to pick up an application. All proceeds will go toward the Auxiliary’s pledge to Glen Cove Hospital.
