Three members of the Glen Cove Police Department continued their professional education this month by attending Nassau County Police’s Basic Investigators School. Det. James McDonnell, Det. Brian Simmons and officer Eddy Linares completed the three-week program, which was held at Nassau’s Police Academy.
“The course prepares officers for the investigative process, including legal issues, crime scene handling, physical evidence, documentation, interviews and interrogations,” said Det. Lt. John Nagle.
Continued professional education and training will ensure that Glen Cove’s police department maintains its reputation as a cutting edge law enforcement agency.
