On Jan. 6, the North Shore Key Club sponsored a handball benefit tournament for the Families in Support of Treatment Organization (FIST) at North Shore High School. The event was very well attended and supported by North Shore High School students. Assisting with this event was the North Shore Kiwanis Club with president Roger Hill, DPP Doug Barnaby and SDPLG Larry Benedetti. The New York District Governor Forbes Irvine was also in attendance to support the cause; FIST is an organization that addresses problems on substance abuse.
