The final show of the 56th annual Morgan Park Summer Music Festival ended on a beautiful summer night. The season finale started 90 minutes early and featured local artists Matt Grabowksi, Don Bikoff and the duet Ken Krumenacker and Jerry Ahern. The headliner for this folk music night was “A Band Called Honalee.”
Between performances Committee Chairman Tom Suozzi thanked the people and sponsors of Glen Cove for making the 56th annual season a success. He also thanked the countless volunteers who helped put the season together. Mayor Reggie Spinello came on stage and awarded a City of Glen Cove Citation to the committee, presenting the award to Suozzi. The last night’s attendance drew more than 1,000 people, who all left Morgan Park with smiles after such a warm and wonderful performance.
