When a major snow storm impacted the city, Glen Cove residents Brandon Aviles and Camrohn Pittman took the initiative to help their elderly neighbors by voluntarily shoveling their pathways and driveways during the brutal snowstorm. To recognize the thoughtful efforts of these two young men, Mayor Timothy Tenke and the Glen Cove City Council presented Aviles and Pittman with a special “Good Neighbor Community Service” citation.
“Brandon and Camrohn’s generosity of spirit and commitment to assist those in need personifies the caring hearts of individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of their community by helping their neighbors,” said Tenke.
