Sara Jones and I met when she moved to Sea Cliff 16 years ago. She immediately became involved in the community, participating in a wide range of Civic Association events. When her daughter was born, she became a dynamic force at the Children’s Library, offering her time, talent and always positive attitude. As time went on she took on a major role in the Friends of the Sea Cliff Library, sharing her financial expertise and organizational skills. Then as co-founder of the SCMakeshop, she introduced great science and math programs to the community involving both the schools and the Children’s Library.
In all my many interactions with Sara, she has been intellectually innovative, fiscally responsible and always compassionate. A vote for Sara Jones on May 17 for the North Shore School Board is a vote for a truly dedicated representative—someone who views the needs of the entire community as a No. 1 priority.
