On April 16, the North Shore Women’s lacrosse team hosted its first annual Make a Wish cystic fibrosis game. The team came together to support two of their teammates who were diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in 2008.
The team wanted to raise awareness about this illness and give back to other children who have been diagnosed. The team raised more than $1,500 to donate to the Make a Wish foundation. The girls beat MacArthur High School in a non-league game that morning, improving their overall record to 5-3 in conference 1.
