Fifth-Graders Hold Coat Drive


Two Glen Cove fifth-graders recently took their homework assignment to a new level. Acting upon a suggestion from their religious program at St. Boniface to perform an act of kindness, Chase Grennan and Jake Lebowitz, both students at Connolly Elementary School, ran a week-long coat drive for children, men and women in the community. Their creative idea not only helped others, but taught them to give during the holiday season.
