Football Coach Of The Year


Locust Valley High School Varsity football coach, Matthew McFarland was selected as Conference IV Coach of the Year by the Nassau County Football Coaches Association. He is considered by many of his colleagues to be a tactical coach, priding himself on game planning and overall conditioning to help his team overcome opponents.

McFarland has been the Falcons head coach for the past five years, leading his team to the three Big IV Championship and guiding them to become the county champions this year. The Football Coaches Association selected him based on his overall performance and success.
