Glen Cove Businesses Express Gratitude To First Responders

The country’s first National First Responders Day was observed on Oct. 28. Several Glen Cove businesses locked arms to say a very special thanks to all of Glen Cove’s First Responders in a unique gratitude video.

The video features local restaurants, retail shops, wellness offices, exercise studios and other Glen Cove merchants who are grateful for all that our first responders do to protect not only their stores, but also our entire community.

“You’re the first people,” chiropractor Dr. Maxine Mayreis explained in her segment of the video, “who run into a crisis when everyone else is running out.”

The video is being shared with the community on local social media pages and proceeds from the production are being donated to Glen Cove’s Volunteer Firefighters, EMS and Police Benevolent Association. The video features messages of thanks from the following companies:

American Paving, Mary Stanco – Berkshire Hathaway/Laffey, Noble Savage Brewery, The View, Forest Kitchen & Bath, Vito’s Pizza, Charlie’s, Gentlemen’s Chop Shop, Delicious Pizza, Cove Opticians, Dr. Charles Hoffman, La Bussola Dr. Maxine Mayreis, Forest Avenue Grill, Glen Floors, Forest Pizza, Glen Cove Fitness, Frank’s Beverage, Glen Cove Med Station, Land Rover of Gen Cove, Gritty Buddha, Hazuki, Landing Bakery, North Shore Diamond & Gold Life’s ABCs, Rozzano’s and Glen Cove Salt Cave.
