Fred Bollaci, a Glen Cove native—whose late father, Dr. Frederick Bollaci, of North Shore Hospital (formerly Glen Cove Hospital) served Glen Cove and area communities for more than 30 years—is hosting a book signing event at La Bussola Restaurant on Nov. 18 and La Ginestra Restaurant on Nov. 19, both in Glen Cove, celebrating his new book in his series. The Restaurant Diet: A Spiritual Journey of Weight Loss & Self Discovery (Oct. 15, 2019, Mango Publishing). Bollaci’s first book will also be available for sale, The Restaurant Diet: How To Eat Out Every Night and Still Lose Weight (Jan. 15, 2018 Mango Publishing), featuring recipes from 100 of the nation’s top restaurants.
