More Glen Cove Runners

This fall, the Glen Cove Big Red Knights welcomed its largest contingent of student-athletes in program history.

The first three weeks of the season are often the toughest, as the Knights attempt to get back into shape following the summer months. The squads trained rigorously despite the unusually hot weather.
This season, the girls cross-country team is led by two returning All-County runners: senior Grace Blinkoff and junior Thais Delima. The boys squad leader has yet to be determined; however, juniors Sam Israel, Daniel Baboolal and Andrew Banos have all returned. The boys also added juniors Dominic Braisello and Colin Yates, as well as senior Andrew Liu, to the roster..
